Welcome to the 2013-2014 School Year

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! It's great to see the returning students, and meet all you new ones, too.   I am really excited about everything we have planned for this semester- Ag Fest, meetings, fundraisers, and many activities. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 12 at 4:30 at the Ag building. DT FFA is open to any Delaware Tech student, regardless of major, so bring a friend.

Please let me or any officer know if you have any questions. Good Luck with classes - Hope to see you on September 12!!

My name is Jenna Hitchens and I am the president of Del Tech FFA. I graduated from Sussex Central High School. My major is Communications. I have been raising and showing sheep since I was little. When I'm not at school or showing, I love hanging out with my family and friends, fishing, bonfires and anything Duck Dynasty - and attending FFA events, of course!

Treasurer - Cody Stubbs

In 2013, I completed my second year at Delaware Tech where I am pursuing my A.A.S. degree in Production Agriculture. This degree will assist me in reaching my future goal of becoming an entomologist (a person who studies insects). I have always been interested in the sciences, having taken the Environmental Sciences curriculum at Polytech High School. Learning about plants and soils as a student and FFA member was a great opportunity to work with fellow students and helped me determine my future career. Currently, I am serving my third and final year as the Delaware Tech Collegiate FFA Chapter Treasurer and look forward to my last semester. I am also working for the University of Delaware at the Carvel Research and Education Center. I hope everyone has a great year and will think about becoming a Delaware Tech Collegiate FFA member or officer – we’re a great team – we look forward to seeing new faces join our crew.
